1. Migrant Soul

I’m a migrant soul
Crossing over every border
Gather up all the people
Tell them I have come
I can show you a place
Where there are people of every color
Jamming to the music
In the heat of the sun

I was born at a crossroads
Of heaven and earth – my mother
I came into being
And seeing myself through the eyes of others

My back is a bridge to paradise
My back is a bridge to euphoria
So I’m calling all the boys and girls
Too bad to go to heaven
Pack a bag and hitch a ride with a migrant soul
Let’s go home

I’m a migrant soul
Crossing over every border
Gather up all the people
Tell them I have come
I can show you a place
Where there are people of every color
Jamming to the music
In the heat of the sun

I was blind to my beauty
Until I put down the mirror
I was blind to my power
Until I knew I could be my biggest hero

My back is a bridge to paradise
My back is a bridge to emancipation
So I’m calling all the boys and girls
Too bad to go to heaven
Pack a bag and hitch a ride with a migrant soul
Let’s go home

2. What Do I Know

I’ve been searching for someone to see me
Searching for someone to be
I’ve been searching for someone to see me
Just for me

How can anyone ever see me?
If I don’t get up and get out and be me
How can I ever hope to make a difference in this crazy
world
If I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do

What do I know
That I pretend not to know
What do I know
That I deny that I know

I’ve been searching for someone to guide me
Someone to show me the way
I’ve been searching but coming up empty
Just like me

How can anyone ever show me
How to live my life for me
How can I ever hope to make a difference in this crazy
world
If I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do

What do I know
That I pretend not to know
What do I know
That I deny that I know

3. This Morning

This morning I woke up in someone else’s body
Couldn’t find my way home
This morning I woke up with someone else’s secret
Couldn’t find my way home
Where are you tonight
Where are you going
Can I get there
Last night I had a dream – I was alive
Another world was my home
Where did you come from
Can I get there

4. Human Race

I know I’m supposed to have it together by now
I know I’m supposed to know what to do
But nothing in this world makes any sense to me
Is there something I am that I’m not willing to be

I’m not running in the human race
Even though they may recognize my face
Even though I smile when they look my way
I still feel out of place in the human race

I know I’m supposed to fall in love someday
Maybe even have a family
I don’t mean to hurt you when I say
It just doesn’t feel real to me

I’m not running in the human race
Even though they may recognize my face
Even though I smile when they look my way
I still feel out of place in the human race

5. In The Space

Close your eyes
Go out a hundred thousand miles
Beyond your body
Meet me out there
Totally aware
In the space

Close your eyes
Perceive the cool breeze
Blowing in your body
There’s consciousness there
You’ll find it everywhere
In the space

6. Keep Choosing

Everybody wants me to be what they want me to be
And I can be anything for just ten seconds
But then they try to pin me down
Try to make me be consistent
But oh no no that ain’t working for me

‘Cause I ain’t making no more decisions
No more conclusions
I just keep choosing
Just keep choosing

Everybody wants me to do what they want me to do
And I can do anything for just ten seconds
But then they try to pin me down
Try to make me be consistent
But oh no no that ain’t working for me

‘Cause I ain’t making no more decisions
No more conclusions
I just keep choosing
Just keep choosing

Oh when they all want something from me
I don’t resist, I give it energetically
And I just keep choosing
Just keep choosing

7. Strange Days

Strange days, my feet don’t touch the ground
Strange days, my footsteps don’t make a sound
My head overflows with other people’s conversations
Too vacant to find out who is speaking
My mind needs no drug to journey to the end of time
My heart is the only reminder that I am breathing

8. Expand

It’s been forever since I walked in human skin
And I forgot their obsession with sin
What if everything you ever thought was true
Was an implant or a lie that someone sold you

You don´t need to pack no bag
Open your heart and you´ll fly way high
The lights are bright and you will like the vibe

What if there’s another way
To make it through the day
With ease and joy and glory
Listen to silence truth is hiding there
Let your being expand

Expand your mind
Come on out and play

Humans separate their lives into zones
They´ve got one for their dreams
And another for their bones

You don´t need to pack no bag
Open your heart and you´ll fly way high
The lights are bright and you will like the vibe

What if there’s another way
To make it through the day
With ease and joy and glory
Listen to silence truth is hiding there
Let your being expand

Expand your mind
Come on out and play

Expand your mind and find that your life
Can be so much more than you imagined
Expand!

9. Ten Seconds

You got ten seconds, ten seconds
You got ten seconds to live

What you gonna do with your pathetic little life
Gonna live, gonna die, gonna try something now
Is it working for you or do you pay a price
What you gonna do with this thing called life

You’re working harder everyday to keep the status quo
But it don’t mean a thing and it ain’t got no swing
Is that enough for you? You call that living?
What you gonna do with the life you’re given?

Ten seconds to be me
What do I choose to be?
Ten seconds to be me
What do I choose?
